The children have had a super return to school! They are really enjoying their work on mystery stories in English and have done some complex symmetry investigations. In science, we have kicked off our work on plants with a plant murder investigation and now have a mass of questions the children want to answer. Our current topic is farming and I have found that the children love to look at maps. They have made some very interesting comments about where we choose to put farms.

Year 3 have now made their instruments for our Soundscape topic! They really enjoyed doing this and thought carefully about how to reproduce the sounds they heard in the outdoor area. I was amazed by their ability to evaluate and change their designs.
